If you're a fan of Pac-Man but are a little bored of the same old characters then you might find that FruitsDay makes a refreshing change.
FruitsDay sees you take the role of a little blue blob guy who must navigate mazes gobbling up all the fruit. Once you've munched all the fruit in the garden you need to get to the exit point before the timer runs out. You'll need to watch out because there are bugs lurking in the maze that will kill you if you run into them.
It provides quite an enjoyable diversion for a while, but ultimately I found FruitsDay a little slow moving for my liking. It takes an age to get round some of the mazes and it's easy to become bored of this. What's more, I found the game to be a bit too easy, even on the hardest of the three difficulty settings. There are 60 levels to negotiate but it'll probably be boredom rather than the tardy insects that destroys you.
On the positive side, FruitsDay is well presented, with cute detailed graphics and some lovely melodies and sound effects.
FruitsDay makes for an interesting alternative to Pac-Man, but the novelty wears off fairly quickly.
